We were called about a momma cat who was pregnant and having some sort of difficulty delivering her kittens. She was left behind when her family moved and a neighbor had been feeding her. We took her in and she was eventually rushed to an emergency vet and it was discovered that she needed a c-section to deliver her kittens. The vet was able to save her life but unfortunately not the kittens. She is super sweet, purrs and loves attention. She does not seem to get along with other cats but we don't know about dogs.
