Domestic Short Hair / Tabby (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium
Cy was found living in a feral colony in Harpers Ferry. He is around three years old and is a ginger boy . He had lost one eye and his other eye improved with medicine. He also has a small polyp In his left ear which is being treated with meds until it is big enough to remove. Cy is currently in a foster home. For a long time Cy just stayed in the back of a cubby all the time. He was scared of everything but did really love to be petted. He eventually graduated from a cage to a small room and at first stayed in a cubby there as well. But eventually he explored the room and began to get comfortable with his foster mom. He was let out into the house when he was ready and has blossomed in a major way. He is the most playful cat ever and his favorite toy s are springs but he also loves toy mice and balls. He basically will play with everything. Cy is fantastic with other cats. He is incredibly sweet and loves people. He is always coming up to his foster mom with his back hunched up wanting to be petted. Cy will ONLY eat fancy feast beef pate and a prescription dry food for the other cats. Cy is very very shy and is easily frightened He hides from people he doesn’t know. He is best off starting in a small room for a month or so until he is familiar with his people. He should gradually be introduced to the rest of the house and its best to take it really slow with Cy. Cy has formed a bond with the other foster ginger kitty in the home and they play like kittens. Chasing each other, passing toys back and forth, and generally racing all over the house til they are exhausted. It would be wonderful if the two of them could be adopted together.
